Marilo just think if you didnt buy a panda how loud you would be. Thats right you wouldnt be loud buy a crx get it loud then you can speak. Trust me anyone who can buy a panda can break 155 and you got 1 that already had a box that did 158s so to me your number means nothing unless you beat the euros with that car.

keep it up, this is how we play in forums.
hehe, well, you are absolutely right.
ive always had a loud daily driver i guess you could say.. anyone who heard it thought it was cool.. there was actually only one person in the car who wasnt into it.. ive done alot installs for people when i was in high school, it seemed like alot of people had interest in being loud and really pounding.. not many people know about actually competing.. i have noticed however there are alot more people competing from my home town than when i was in school there.. i think dale is to thank for that..
as far as the intimidated noob's.... what if someone was to do soemthing just for them after the show or something? after everyone is done get all the daily drivers lined up and see how they do? do it for free.. take an extra hour out of the day.. i know i wasnt into the whole competing thing but i probably would have went for that...
kinda like a band playing then having an open mic jam after.. no one will want to play with the band, maybe because they feel like they cant keep up to the band. but once theyre done some will get up and tear it up on the open stage... make any sense?
more of a "no pressure" situation... myself, the one show i was in there were only two of us in our class... me and db don i believe it was.. i was like wtf? haha as if.. deffinately a feeling of intimidation, deffinately knew i wasnt going to win.. deffinately woulda felt more comfortable going against people more on my level.
i guess thats kinda what street stock is... i maybe wrong but i kinda think that if after everyones done get on the mic and just say... k everyone else with a system lets rock it! see what happens..

Yes, we are talking about how to get newcomers, so the less rules the better, more shows, garage shows, cheap stuff. In few months after doing that you can see results. (It was done in SD's city, the number of local amps sold increased a lot)
