Figured he was busy (all the work he does for the site is probably a little more than time consuming even without all the personal time he spends with other things)

Still does not make the wait any more bearable though ------ mad props for him even wanting to take his personal time to do this tho

And Team Ricco 2 and poor attitudes go hand and hand....

Stop crapping on the thread just for the sake of it. Let the testing be done and the proof will be in the numbers bad or good. Bottom line.

Wow... nice to hear useful feedback from you as always. Jordy doesn't work for me, these aren't excused from Sundown. He's busy, plain and simple. If you think that car audio is the #1 priority in everyones life you need to get out more.

Why don't you check Termpro for some results on the 3000D in the meantime? And yes, even some results from the "end all be all of car audio" -- street dB drag. As I mentioned before the 3000D does well in street, better than the 1500D does... and was only 0.1 dB down from the DD Z1 in that competitors vehicle -- 4 amps vs. 4 amps in Street C I believe. Up from Memphis 4kws, ab 200.1s, and ab 400.1s in his setup as well, FYI.

He's a dealer for DD, Memphis, and American Bass by the way... so is he on my payroll too even though he doesn't carry my products at this time?

http://audioforum.termpro.com/topic/20/13703/3.html

He posted the above information near the bottom of page 3, linked there.

Several others who have tried the 3000D have chimed in as well.

Hey Jacob,
I've read through the post and found these pics posted, but wasn't sure how many amps he was testing when he got these numbers.. is it 2 3000D's strapped?

I fail to find it funny anymore after some of the happenings on CCA.

If you were just kidding, my apology for taking it the wrong way. I'm certain, though, that you can see why I get defensive on here.

Chris,

That was from 2x SAZ-1500Ds at, what I imagine to be, full bore clipping. On my test bench I can measure ~2200 watts clipped from a 1500D... for that snapshot we had four hooked to an FI Audio BTL letting it go to town (those meters measured one strapped pair)... that was the last reading we got before the sub started whacking it's cone against the spider landings and we shut it down.

The voltage source for that test was more substantial than what I use on my test bench (a large battery charger was in place along with a larger 12v bank than I have) which is why I imagine it was able to squeeze our more power. I would hate to imagine the THD percentage at that power level on a 12 volt setup, suffice to say it wouldn't sound pretty if we could have heard it over the BTL tearing itself apart.

That measurement took place @ the ROE woofer roundup around the time I started selling amps. I was invited to bring some amps to test the woofers so I brought out four 1500Ds. Nick Morgan from FI Audio was present, Nick Lemons from Stereo Integrity was present, Loyd Lowry was present, and several other "random" car audio enthusiasts were present for the event.
