"Big 3" upgrade, Cap. or Vol. Stabilizer?
Man, this is redundant!!!! I am for the caps, second battery, volt stabilizer, bigger alt, bigger battery, in-line driver, multiple runs of 0awg wire, and a horse carriage with more batteries, caps, and extra 0awg just in case.

There is an alternator shop that has been recommended by others here. His prices seem very reasonable, but I dont feel it is correct to name it since I have not had any work done there yet.
The contact name is Ray Knight though, and more than a few people have had alts rewound / upgraded from them. He has answered my emails and quoted me a very fair walk in / walk out price. He will also rewind yours, upgrade parts etc while you wait, but half my front end must come off to get to the alt, so thats a no go.
My quote was for the STD HD which is 100 amp idle and 170 at higher speeds.
I'm sure someone else could post the name and other info if they wish.
