I figured it had to be that many. Can you post up a link to the Genesis driver, particularly where one might buy one? I hit Solen and Madisound and didn't see it.

I've always preferred oversized mid bass driver. 8" minimum please. If I could shoehorn a 10" in my car I would.

I have found that bigger mids play lower and don't really offer up more "snap". Of course they also play lower louder.

"Snap" is more of a design function. A big mid bass with really good attack/decay will have all the snap anyone would need.

Agreed, but I would also like some serious volume.

I'm curious about this Genesis driver as well and would also like to know where from and how mucho !??!?

DLS had a yellow cone UR6s (I think) 6.5" driver that did really nicely in the mid-bass area. Depending on the quality of the recorded material and the type of attention to detail in the installation, it worked really well at not adding anything to the music and just reproducing accurately the intent of the recording. It wasn't perfect, but for the bucks it was a purdy nice driver.
