Yup it is nuts, i also have a price list that i got off another site for all morel products in usd of course, probably over a year old now,but on that they were 799.95usd each.

I don't know how to post it,if your interested pm me your e-mail and i can send it to you.

I'd send you my original invoice but if you think 1899.98 for a set of 9's is bad ,your gonna puke when you see the amount i paid for "upgrades"

Lightbulb

I've known Tim for a long time - I can more than imagine.

I'm not dissin on your system or that you are able to go for it. I'm saying it's a sin what these high end companies demand sometimes.

Did a quick critique between my best drivers

JBL 2118-light weight sound very little under 125 Hz may be the most accurate for vocals and midrange information, reminds me of the Hybrids Audio sound (this is a 9" driver might fit in my wife's Edge)

http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/2118.pdf

Dynaudio mw170- very musical, more balanced than the 2118, overall the best

Dynaudio MW 162- fresh from the box NOT BROKEN IN, much much more bass than the 2118 or 170 (smallest driver) almost congested after listening to the 2118 trails the pack sonically (but it reallllly needs to be broken in)

I dont have a choice I have to install the 162 it is the only driver that will fit, I am certain it will be outstanding once it is broken in

Although you may have in your hands the best of the best as far as a midbass driver goes, the car and the installation can still ruin it. I still think it's a complete waste of time spending HUGE bucks on drivers if you're not spending equivalent amounts on the install and having the *right* car............... and even so, spending huge money on driver to go into a car is stupid period IMHO. And I don't understand people that want to attempt to install these sorts of things when the rest of the system/car/install isn't up to par.

A talented installer/tuner can make an average midbass driver sound unbelievable............. as long as the driver isn't a piece of junk.

^ I'm sorry but that reply is moronic. Yes, install can certainly affect the performance of any driver but given the install as it will be, a better driver will sound better.

spending huge money on driver to go into a car is stupid period IMHO.
then why are you even here?
