on vancouver island theres no shops at all so the scene is basically in the gutter , thats why I became a distributor , the problom alot of shops have is shipping costs can be very large so they only carry canadian made equipment which really limits the selection of stuff shops have so when competitors go to a show using gear thats been imported from the states and the rookies seee this they wanna use the gear they see doing well , so alot of the shops that are carrying cheaper brand companys dont make alot of sales besides soundsgood auto or custom car there isnt to many shops that carry high end stuff thats why I became a distributor for a high end north american company to try and develop a higher scene out hear on the island and in western canada

Dealers do shows mainly as an advertising tool to help them earn more business; we must never forget that.
Luke - I've heard around.... are you a distributor? A distributor for a high end north american company? Why don't you step and become a vendor then?
