That's the plan. Buy amps till I'm happy. I'm changing the mounts tomorrow then cutting the hole soon after. I'll update the cut size asap.

Just found out I have to cu the bottom of the bed first then the top of the cab after that as they don't line up worth a . Anyone have any other tips for me? DUKK, MTA, YULI. Anyone.

Yeah - as you found out, you need to lay it out by the bottom of the bed and the top of the cab. Measure more than a couple of times. Then drill a hole in each corner of your planned cut so you can see where it's going to wind up for both the bed and the cab.

What is your plan for joining the bed to the cab?

I have made the drill holes in the top of thr cab and bottom of thr box. I was going to use a hole saw to get a nice radiused edge for the boot. I have access to a plasma cutter as well as a sawsall, various grinders and air saw. Which would be best and simpliest. The boot i have is from a semi. Is there a better option. Ppl around here have used inner tubes and wood. Boot is thr best way to go but are there different types.

Im pretty sure a plasma will warp the s*#t out of it ! I would use a good ole recepricating saw that way there shouldn't be any sparks flying everywhere and a good blade, don't buy that job mate crap ! Just my 2 cents
