Actually, here is my understanding:
Strapping or Bridging (in reference to two amps) where you have two amps driving the same driver.
Slaving. Can be the above, but might also be that the gains of the master amp control everything downstream of the slave amps. So the settings on 1 amp control all other amps.
You can have amps that are strapped/bridged that aren't slaved, and some that are. You can have amps that are slaved, but not driving the same drivers in some cases.
Either way, seems like a sucker and his money are soon seperated. And as for the guy who lost his job, you are only as good as your employer unfortunatley, I think leaving was a blessing.

Reality is all he would need if it was a true mono amp but had no provision for phase inversion is an Audio Control 2XS crossover

Yes it does. Most new amps simply have one channel inverted from the factory. Used to be, like 10+ years ago, that a lot of amps had switches on them for "mono" and that is what the switch did. Yet others, like Orion, required you to buy a preamp bridging module to invert the one channel, or a 2XS as noted above.
so are u saying that i can take that Audio Control 2XS crossover and easilly bridge my two earthquake phd3 amps??? this is interesting as this would allow many ppl to use twice as much power as they think they can. Wonder why no one spoke of it before and why are ppl in db drag are breaking their backs trying to find the amp with most power, when u can just take 2 smaller mono block amps and make them into one with the Audio Control 2XS crossover

I'm not going to guess at the internals of your Earthquake amp. A 2XS has one channel inverted on the lowpass output. It's purpose was to facilitate bridging for dual mono amplifiers. Again, a little knowledge someone attempted to show you but you rebuke it.
The first time I saw the term "slave" was from Phoenix gold and it was to help align the operation of their power supplies in multi amp installs for reduced noise. It has since grown to represent any amplifier connection scheme where one amp controls the funcion of another.

i didnt refuse to listen. i was inquring about the crossover u are talking about, this infact does sound interesting. i dont know why u find my questions to be sarcastic and negative??? do i say them in some special way? I was really asking about this 2xs device b/c i've never heard of it before and this is infact very enlightning.
so is it possible or not to slave two kenwood amps, the ones that werent ment to be slaved or bridged, in the terms that u put it in? I dont know? I really dont? im simply asking? please dont get offended or take my questions the wrong way again.
