FIT build begins
sorry for no updates - needed two days to recoop and long night of Rickards White drinking. Anyways today I got up nice and early and it was raining! Boo - Tomorrow looks good but a high of 5 - great freeze my hands and maybe my ANL 80 amp fuse will arrive so I can at least start my car and keep warm!
Yesterday and Today's progress on the amp rack
Yesterday
Installed the Vifa(temp) and TN52's
Installed 80amp fuses so I can start the FIT - Vroooooom
Secured the amp rack to the vehicle
Measurements, measurements and more measurements
Today
Cut out holes for the fans
1/2 ply riser to increase the gap for fan clearance - drill and installed T-nuts
1/2 ply sides for the 1/2 ply top plate - glued and screwed
much more tomorrow!

Thanks for the comments - a little set back - Aa flake of metal flew into my eye yesterday. Thankfully the metal was stainless - if it wasn't it would rusted and I would of maybe needed surgery. Anyways i'll have amp rack photos uploaded soon - I'm in the middle of wiring it right now!
well here is a long over due update! It's been a bump ride and - I'm still having problems with a brand new Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2. My second in 2 months! Completely shocked and annoyed! Anyways here ya go!

It does state in any orientation!
I'm ask Rockford later tonight when they call!
Here is what the manual states:
INSTALLATION
MOUNTING LOCATIONS
Engine Compartment
Never mount this unit in the engine compartment. Mounting the unit in the engine compartment will void your
warranty.
Trunk Mounting
The recommended orientation would be on the floor, as this would provide the best possible range for the Bluetooth controller. The device may be mounted in any other orientation as long as Bluetooth range is maintained. Each vehicle is made of different materials and this may inhibit the Bluetooth range as well. The less metal between the device and controller, the better the signal strength will be.
