j/k - a friend of mine had a couple die on him and was told by a contact at Rockford (being a pro has some advantages) that they should not be mounted inverted, and to have decent ventilation.

 

Not sure who at Rockford told your friend that. I spoke with Dan at rockford who is a product developer and he stated - upside down is no problem! They used to have problems with their power supplies and now apparantly noise - in my case!

In his case the bluetooth receiver melted down a couple of times IIRC.. The unit would just stop listening to his Palm and never come back.

 

yikes - thank god they fixed that problem! I have one 3sixty that I used at iasca and it's working great.

 

Fall build has been put on hold for the next week or so due to an injury! Anyways it's probably a good thing - it's getting to damn cold out!

it wont be 100% done until the new year - once the trunk is wrapped up I have to re-do the dash and make the huge sub box!

Plus I'm having processor noise issues and seriously thinking of going digital!
