^^I was just about to say exactly that, but Dereck beat me to it. DWVW didn't say a thing regarding his opinion of it. I was kind of reeling towards saying that, since I dont want to look like the antagonist here.

Nothing, I haven't given my opinion on the sub BECAUSE I HAVEN'T HEARD ONE, just like you, of course that doesn't stop you from spouting off like it does normal people.
It dosent say anything about the SPL cone being different.. only the coil config..

And by disagreeing with me, you are giving an opinion... and BTW I never even remember hearing anything about why I was or could be wrong.. just that I must be wrong because I don't know for sure...

I said..

1. Poor for SPL based on the probable cone weight and suspension.. (which is usually reflected by FS)

2. For alot less money you could match or exceed overall performance with 2 or more smaller drivers...

3. They could have made it alot lighter.. 300+lbs was probably a marketing ploy...

We will wait and see on # 1... And I dont think you are denying # 2 and # 3... If you want to say Iam 33% wrong, then I'll go along with that...

I actually think the thing is pretty cool.. and maybe it should be expensive as its all custom tooled, the market isnt huge, and its the biggest and baddest you can get....

fine, thats all well and good... I just think it would be better if they made it lighter weight so you could wall it in your sports or midsize car without cutting your gas mileage and performance like 2 fat girls would... it would also be hella easier to install...

Instead of arguing with everyone, please explain your reasoning for your 3 points and how you came up with them without having the woofer to go by ? After all, me and Dereck have simply said that with out seeing it, hearing it or working with it, your opinions are all based on speculation and that is not fair to the product or people who are interested in it................
