I think 3rd party testing with stringent guidelines should be done first. All these other tests are subject to scrutiny… real "true" data is important here, not "hey man this thing slams".

who wouldnt want a shiny, chrome, polished terd!

the majority of car audio noobs, i think, dont know how to read the numbers, so why would "oh man this thing slams" not be of any sales help?

What "oh man this thing slams" means to you might not be the same to me. Totally subjective and in the real world should be backed by facts.

I agree that someone should do some numeral testing with these.

I'm a bit disappointed with some specs of em, so I'd have to pass. This looked really interesting at first.

But hats off for the initiative Steve!

Well for sure we have already been doing some real testing with the one proto of each size. And no better tests then real world beatings Even 3rd party testing will not test endurance and limits of the everyday everyday. We have tested enough to get the box parameters and T/S numbers though and the drivers work well. I figured what better way then to have some hardcore CCA guys beat them to death. A company can hand me numbers all day long but if it doesn't work in the field then whats the point.

Fs is a bit highish, but I'm on the sq side of things.
otherwise xmax and porerhandling is right on the spot of my needs. no need for kilowatts of power .
