sorry i had to run away for a few, what i wanted to add on was that if you buy 2 kinda lower quality woofers what are you gonna do once you wanna put some serious power through them. from the sounds of these they can take a beating from most amps and still keep goin strong.
i would rather spend more money the first time then keep spending money on somthing thats not really that good. like going from jensen to pyle to legacy to lanzar to (a top of the line sub)... you know what i mean?

and also why pass up the opportunity to get cost on a sub, where as a deal now is what retail is on the mach 5's?

Your your drivers are more geared towards SPL and should easily outperform the Mach5 Audio drivers in that respect...while The Mach5 subs are likely better subs for SQ.

But the main reason I think your price point may be a tad high is because for the same money, someone could buy a pair of Mach5 drivers instead of one. I think in most cases, a pair of Mach5 drivers will have more displacement.

Regardless your intended price points are still very fair. They're just not priced crazy cheap like Mach5 is.
Ah you raise good points. While someone could buy a pair of Mach5 drivers for the price of one of Steve's, someone with a tad more money could buy 2 of Steve's, still cheaper than some brand name subs, and much better quality than another pair of any other subs. I was lucky enough to be able to talk with the gentleman from Mach5, and he couldn't stress enough that his drivers were not on the market to make himself a profit, but more for everybody that needs a wall of subs for cheap. He was really encouraged about a few fellows that he had done business with that had purchased several of his subs for their home entertainment system. So definately, if space isn't a problem, get a bunch of Mach5 subs to match up to what just a few of Steve's drivers can do. Just remember that for most of us, we just want a pair of 12s that can rock our socks at any volume.

The Mach5 subs are far from junk, but I understand your point.

I'm not so sure what you're saying here.

Very cool guys, like I said Mark over at Mach 5 does know his stuff well. And there MAW-12 is a 350wrms driver vs our 650Wrms 12. Can't really compair the two drivers as they are a different target market. Also we are possibly toying with the idea of including shipping Canada wide in those retail prices. As the 12 and 15 are super heavy. We have 3 prototypes that the company sent to us for approval and to check them out. From there sent them out to another company for testing for t/s numbers and box calculations. Thats done now they are on the way back here. We have a PO in for a small field test order which I was explaining and offering to you guys and will have enough first run to take care of at least 4 people for each size. We get some feedback and if they seem to be a hit then a ordering we will go. Have to watch the funds as this has been a costly endevor so far. So have to roll it out like this. Trying not to go into debt for this. Anymore thoughts?
