Thanks man, well the only thing I can think is they are to stiff and need a break in. I will continue to work with them and see what happens.

haha... no reason to crawl under a rock... I'm glad to see you're doing what it takes to bring the product to market and do it RIGHT.

Asking us for our input is just an added bonus!

You have to really power it to get it going and then when it does it sounds over extended. I don't know what to say but back to the drawing board. I feel maybe the company did not gave me accurate specs or if it was a part or build issue.............sorry guys to let you down. Im so pissed and upset over this....the driver they first gave me performed amazing......an now. Well less then impressed and nothing I do to change it. But I thought you guys should know. Cause I can not sell them like this. I have a ton of money invested into this and it bombed. So I will be talking with the build company and checking to see what happened between the first proto and these. I will keep you informed if I hear anything.....sorry
There are some considerations with the motors I might make... but if you are happy with them fine...

Other then that those baskets arn't normally used with high excursion woofers but are probably fine for a 600 watt sub... you can see they also used large cup spiders to extend cone travel, probably more then necassary..... this will give implications, generally a very soft suspension once they are broken in and far less stability for the VC inside the motor, especially with a heavy cone.... bottom line the large cup on the spider is used to extend the cone from the basket, not to make a high excursion driver... if that cup collapses everything will go to ...

IMO the correct option for a high excursion/heavy duty sub would be to use spacers behind one or more flat or progressive spiders OR simply use a deeper cone with one or more spiders; which is what you normally see with heavy duty subwoofers... also the woven leads are ghetto style and not even done properly...

You say they are too stiff which I don't quite get since I would expect the opposite with those spiders... if you feel the T/S are off maybe they are in the wrong box... Id probably re-measure t/s paramaters after a good break in and see what happens then consider other boxes or build options if needed...

I've got the goods as far as soft parts go and just happen to have a catalog with most of the parts suppliers and buildhouses in north america and asia... not far from you, so feel free to let me know if you'd like my personal analysis

Well they are slowly loosen up. But need some people to test them in there own box and system setups. I have 2 10" 2 12" and 2 15" and if anyone is interested I will give them to somebody at my cost to use and abuse plus $12 $15 and $20 shipping on each one. The 12" seems to be coming around slowly and starting to sound better with each note. But Im bias as I want this to work but need your guys opinions. So if your interested PM me I think the 10" is $65 the 12" is $82 and the 15" is $106 and I am not bringing more in till I know they are ok. So these need to goto people that feel they can give a non-bias opinion and have the system to do so. Again these are suppose to be a well rounded driver for everything and are not meant to just be SPL units. Also working with them in all types of enclosures. So keep an open mind. And no holding back on the reviews. If they dont cut it we all need to know. If you guys come back and all say they are great and I start to sell them and people are not happy, this is not good for anyone.

Thanks guys
