Agree 100%. Its the daily use of a product that shows the truth. Not the 20hours of testing in a lab.

the 10" would fit my current set up (SQ orientated, small sealed application)
I'd be running it at 600w rms though @2ohm load.
If the dealer cost is right I'll do some daily beating for you and compare it to my 10w6v3

let me know when u get them and what the dealer cost will be on them.

Cheers
J

I was thinking the same thing about the FS. I know xmax is not the end all be all, but to me they seem a bit low. Price points are a bit high compared to Mach5 Audio. Best of luck.

these are a much better sub then the mach 5.
the mach 5 had some problem's with the amount of power these can take.
dont quote me on that ask steve.

I know the Mach 5 are cheaper price wise. But we found when testing a Mach 5 we encountered quite of bit of cone noise just slightly over the power handling of the sub. They do work well in a 4th order though. And we also found the suspension to be very soft. Dont get me wrong for the price of the Mach they are a good deal. And Mark knows his stuff and is a great guy. We just tried to over build these drivers and spent a little extra on certain parts. Hence the cost difference. Kind of designed it around things that I wanted in a driver.

are you going to get a single sub to see if it meets your spec, then order more?
or order a bunch at once?
