tuck tape by its self will work just as good.

well, i used it to cover a leak on the "inside" of my old vent and shredded it, thats why i say that. I guess it depends if there is alot of pressure on it?

Ya, it can be a pain. Soapy water and lots of scraping/rubbing works fairly well afterwards... lol. But still better than Duct tape.

either way duct tape cant handle sound! its rated at only 100 mph... .lol...

correct me if I am wrong...

speed of sound in air is 1127feet/second ...there are 60 seconds in one minute so this means 1127 * 60 = 67620 feet/minute... also 60 minutes in an hour meaning 67620 * 60 = 4057200 feet/hour and there are aproximately 5200 feet in one mile...well 4057200/5200 = 780.23 mph

solid mathematical proof...
