Just thought I'd re-ask this again......looking for the loudest canadian civic TRUNK score....not a hatch or crx.....

Its not Canadian but there are some reports of a 151.9 from a civic trunk in trinidad.

 

awesome. we are on the right track then......148 on TL, 149.2 on ac....single 12" sub and 2 d-10's.... still have to build for the second 12", but are hoping for 150 on TL this coming season...

try this... big box facing forward..sub on passenger side and port driver side... port area=cone area... the length you have to play with for tuning...this car works best 48-52Hz play with it ... just build the box as big as you can fit then seal it so no air leaks behind the box and also make sure to seal the rear deck..that should get you into the 150's no problem with that much power

cone area of a round 12" is aprox 68-80 square inches
you calculate this by measuring the diameter at the center of surround and across the middle to the other sides center of surround

 

thanks. yeah, it's tuned a bit high right now(60/61/62) depending on altitude and heat, final setup is gonna be 2 12" forward facing with the trunk completely sealed off....basically that box was bought pre-built, and we just threw it in, tested where it sat the loudest, and checked the frequency. I think the car has the potential to run into the low 150's with the gear that he has, but has major seal leaks, and an aftermarket sunroof that doesn't help a whole lot.... would be nice to get the loudest civic trunk title though.....

ps, will be all comtained to the trunk, a stock 2 setup if you will, and basically a street b setup only with a second battery.....we may make it street b legal for db drag events, I dunno.....
