Loud Trunks

i can almost gaurantee your loading issue is mainly due to your motor being much larger than the cone. The port wraping around behind the one sub makes it load more than the other. Id say try a centre port since using smaller motors isnt really an option.

If it wasnt for the fact that even with smaller motors i.e. AQ hd3's and hdc3's I still had the same issue. Its definately the box.

Port side sub will always have loading issues when its that close to the port. Don't do center port. It won't work as well. Try doubling the surround on that side.

in a box like that one the sub over the port will always break in that fashion.

you need to try a box with center port.

loudest trunk car to date did NOT use a center port maybe im mistaken but loudest trunk I iknow of is Dave DaSilva's neon

peter is right, mike steirs trunk was loud but daves was louder.

So from what I'm gathering Dave had similar issues as I am haveing. K I'm on the right track.

So to sum things up... Slot drivers side is louder and shreds surrounds....center firing is also loud but with no loading issues.

So does anyone think we can combat the loading by shrinking interior common chamber with a large 45 perhaps?
