In its own way it will be a center port. I should have alot more port area and alot more control of the sub at the same time.

if I recall not even your sub did not hold up... but isnt that what SPL is all about... blow crap up to find the limits and get as loud as you can by refininfg your equipment? his last 2 pairs still work and no blow up! they are also his loudest sets and he was only using 10's compared to 12's that in itself is a feat... now also add to that that he was 0.5dB louder( if I remember correctly Mike did 153.6dB) you yourself know how much more power that takes when you are at your limits and besides 45-48Hz is a tough frequency to get 154's with
I know bla bla bla

Thor good luck with the new design hope it works well for you

he did launch the 10's i gave him. they were on their last legs as is tho, that's why they were given to Dave just like that. But even if they were brand new they would probably still launch in that box. He also did 154.5 with them while launching them. yah u are right tho.

Mike also used a single hawker 1700. would have been close if he had 2 batts.

what was Dave's high cert score? i dont remember anymore.

If I'm not mistaken the loudest certified Trunk was Daves 153.9. I don't believe there has ever been a 55 certified.

Trunk vehicles place a heavier burden on a sub surround's structural integrity.
