Ya, hopefully Wayne see's the need for a Southern California location. I agree. My team mate talks to Doug Stockton(West Coast Judge) frequently. I'll see if he has heard anything.

I was thinking about the long time competitors Yuli.....they have all the skills needed to make a loud car and I thought eliminating some of the variables would allow those skills to shine thru.....
I think over a season you would see the numbers creep up and the lead change several times...it might just get passed back and forth between the same 4 or 5 people, but there might be some ego-driven effort put into it and there's entertainment value in that....

Maybe it would work better as a 1 shot deal between 2 teams at, say a regional finals or similar..... It's been done I know, I'm just thinking out loud here.....if the veterans could demonstrate to the newbs that you can make a good system on a modest budget it might help draw new people in to the game.

Besides, I'd like to see what a guy who is used to dealing with kilowatts of power and 50lb subs can get out of a daily setup that a newb would look at as a first system.....whetting the appetite for more of course.....

I will now return to my bass racer corner and see if this goes anywhere....

Oh and Happy New Year to everyone.....
