ya i hope so to would save us canadians coming down a ton of money , I really dont want to drive to ohio , las angeles would be a 17 hr drive for me , which would be perfect , theres probably around another 2 or 3 guys coming from the west but ya if you hear anything id really apreciate the info

so instead of poeple spending hundreds of dollars on competative equipment you want to force them to spend thousands on a competative car? kinda seems like a backwards process to me.
also, even if everyone uses the same gear the same people will win by about the same amount.

I think over a season you would see the numbers creep up and the lead change several times...it might just get passed back and forth between the same 4 or 5 people, but there might be some ego-driven effort put into it and there's entertainment value in that....
Maybe it would work better as a 1 shot deal between 2 teams at, say a regional finals or similar..... It's been done I know, I'm just thinking out loud here.....if the veterans could demonstrate to the newbs that you can make a good system on a modest budget it might help draw new people in to the game.
Besides, I'd like to see what a guy who is used to dealing with kilowatts of power and 50lb subs can get out of a daily setup that a newb would look at as a first system.....whetting the appetite for more of course.....
I will now return to my bass racer corner and see if this goes anywhere....
