I used blister pack plastic, cut out the shapes, hot glued them together, ground the edges smooth, and glassed em over. Pulled out the plastic after and had a pefectly smooth surface inside...well almost perfect.

Forgot to build up the edge where the port connects to the front of the panel tho. So I had to make a bit more of a mess to flare it, but it turned out not too bad...nothing worse than trying to sand inside a small opening.

Your going to have lots of fibre glass boogers after sanding the panels. But it should be all worth it.

dave i was just curious as to who the 2 engineers where and who you consider to be one of the best installers in the world.
