Initial impressions of the PXA-H900
The H900 is worth it if you goal is to listen to music without realizing you are listening to a stereo.
It's only part of the install though, and as I've found out, it makes flaws in the rest of your system stick out like a sore thumb.

Is it for sure compatible withs PC's optical (toshlink) output??

Ironically, I'm hearing that to perform the same array of functions with the "new" F#1 status processor as the H900, you need to piggyback 2 of them together. They are substatially cheaper, but still...having to buy 2 of them I think is silly. Also...the new processor must be used with the F#1 status head unit. Talk about losing out on flexibility....

and that you wont see one for a year, and it will actually do more xover features that than the 900, it will allow 3 way lf,c,rf,rr,lr, you will also lose hdcd, but in return get dvd audio, and yes you will have to use the new f#1 transport only with the new stuff as the 2 pieves link via proprietary "firewire", but you now dont have to get the 901 to use the cd player, you can get just a d\a converter for the transport
