I agree with ya Tom that its not a magic fix-it box. But as i said earlier what you do get is one of the best if not the best control centers for 12v audio. Installation cant be overcome by processing and there is no denying that but if you have the best installation of how you want your components to be the processing is just that little extra to take it up one level more. Im just stating what I found to be the case in my situation is that just replacing out 1 processor for the h900 did make the stage expand. The tonality was always there even with my old processor and I wouldnt say changed a bunch.

Awsome stuff PEI330Ci, I just saw your other post with the pics of your aluminum work, and am very impressed! Nice work!
Anyhow, I just thought I'd ask if you have been using any time delay on the H900, and your thoughts on the subject? I have found it to be a usefull tool in my vehicle, but others loath it...Have you experimented with it?

A good point about the massive amount of flexibility of systems such as the Alpine processors, as well as any other system like it, is the increased ability to screw up the sound or even cause damage to the system. You have to make sure that the person with the system is either not going to screw with the settings once they are done, or will always leave your baseline setting saved in a memory and knows enough not to wreck anything.

Defro, did you also notice in that benz, that the imageing/staging was total azz......... just wasn't there. Nice car, nice gear, nice waste of money.
There's a trend to hide everything so that those judging the car are not bias because of gear selection. Some people will swear it sounds better because of a brand type. Retarded. Everyone knows Radioshack rules. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

to say i wasnt impressed with the benz would be an understatement. powerful tools and gear in the hands of people incapable of installing and using them well can result in a very expensive and embarassing disaster, your last comment is so true , i was at the usac regionals in calgary, won by over 30 points and the judge told me that i should take out my alpine speakers and put in focals, thing is, my speakers are avi's, i kinda felt bad for the guy so i didnt say anything, funny thing is that the 2nd and 3rd place cars were both full of focal speakers, and this particular judge has done the iasca finals 6 times. i wont even get into the rest of the stuff the guys told me to do, in case he reads this, lets just say it invloves a kleenex box wrapped in duct tape and a 5" focal woofer, IM NOT KIDDING!
