Just curious Rob, how much will it cost roughly for a JL 300/2 or an Focal 2 channel.

 

I can check tomorrow when I am at the shop if that is alright or I will rip back down there tonight if I must. Given that you have a 500/1 and keeping the theme going, a 300/2 might be a great idea.

Just a quick chime in since I see you asking about a 300/2: If you're using a 125x2 RF the one that comes to mind is the 500a2 which is a nice piece and I would not switch it out for a 300/2 anyday.

Try out your 125watter and if it sounds like more power will make these driver's come alive then switch it out for a 200rms per channel (or larger) piece.

 

Took a pic to figure the model of the amp I have. It's the RF Power 451S. Power is 2X115W RMS @4hm to be exact. What I am concerned about is the quality of the watts rather than the amount of watts this amp is capable of. Does this RF amp giving the power that match up to the quality of the K2P? If I do upgrade to a JL 300/2 or even an Audison 2.150 VRx or Focal 2.150, how much difference in SQ can I expect?

What type of cam are you shooting with, SLR i imagine.

 

i would do the vrx 2.250 over the 2.150
if the speaker can have 200 to it why would you get it 110 when the 2.250 will give you 160
i have the vrx 4.300to my k2ps
the jl are nice amps
what do you think of the focal amps ?
