Phaze-Audio vs. Butler Tubeamp

so how is that an automotive machinist knows nothing about engines
25-40 dyno hp is not a small increase.
so how is that an automotive machinist knows nothing about engines

From the first paragraph of "joes stats". "For comparison, the 2003 Cobra are seeing up to a 28 RWHP gain on the dyno!"
There's your 25+ hp. Now kindly STFU and allow me to have an opinion. You cannot "prove" that 25 rwph cannot be noticed any more than you can "prove" that all gain stages sound the same. That's about the only fact I've seen posted in this thread.
^ I have a feeling in ABX testing you would fail at both....
In statistics, a null hypothesis says "there is no phenomenon". It is a hypothesis that is presumed true until statistical evidence in the form of a hypothesis test indicates otherwise.
Sorry, but the onus of proof is on you newb...

LOL. Statistics doesn't ever prove anything. Basic logic supports the fact that you can't prove that they sound the same, only gather lots of evidence to support that.
I'm almost certain I'd fail ABX on an amp test. I'm pretty sure I'd pass ABX on a car when it's +10% hp.

I think some of you guys have much stronger smoke then I have access to...
edit: I just don't buy that anyone would be able to tell the diff just by adding a CAI on any car without the use of a stopwatch....
who here can tell the diff between 13.2 and 12.8 seconds over 1/4 mile as might be the case with the LS1 that gained 25hp....
If I played random tones starting and ending at 13.2s and 12.8s do you really think you could tell ???
I doubt it... and I think ur all crazy...
