And he already replied to the rest of your response so I dont think i need to touch on it anymore.
Subrogation - an equitable doctrine holding that when a third party pays a creditor or obligee the third party succeeds to the creditor's rights against the debtor or obligor; also : a doctrine holding that when an insurance company pays an insured's claim of loss due to another's tort the insurer succeeds to the insured's rights (as the right to sue for damages) against the tortfeasor called also equitable subrogatio

It means the girl who you hit .. her insurance company will pay her claim and then subrogate ("go after") your insurance to recover the loss as you are at fault. If you have a broker, please call him/her and let them know what is going on. You have to understand that even if you do nothing at all with your car, if that girl files with her insurance then you effectively will have a claim against your insurance. If you are having a third party property damage claim against your insurance then you might as well claim your own damages also. You can get a bodyshop to do an estimate of repairs. Just phone your broker (not the insurance company, your broker) -- it is the right thing to do!

I don't have a broke persay it's direct with State Farm I think... and yeah I am pretty sure she's going to claim the insurance to get her car fixed since she was around my age going to school and she won't be able to afford it outta her pocket anyway....I called State farm and it was simple as " u rear ended her, doesn't matter if weather was bad or not "

Honestly though, that sucks.
I'll say it again like I did in the Fall: I hate the frickin' winter time. And look at that, it's snowing outside again.............g-r-e-a-t.
