What is a rough price of the Pioneer Dex-p99rs?

 

its listed as 1350 on the pioneer usa site.

im not sure the people who ordered them from japan got them for though.....i imagine a bit more considering shipping and whatnot.

 

I think it's the best deck made to date, althougn $1200 ouch. 4 preouts is the shizznit. Why would you even consider buying a deck at this cost with a built in amplifier? Loving what Pioneer is doing with car audio these days, although still a little behind HT and Home audio, they are getting there, now they just have to realize that we don't all play in the NBA and can't afford these damn things.

 

it is a dead head. it doesn't have a built in amplifier.

 

The Amp in question is a small external 6 channel amp that comes with the Japanese version... Avidedtr has photos posted you can see it. It's a small box...

 

Sweet god that's a lot of money for a head unit. I'll stick with the 5030...

 

The Pioneer P01 and P99 is the first DECK IMHO to have everything needed in one unit.
