We have a pretty big shop here in Windsor called Factory Auto sound when I get a chance to stop in I will see if its something they would be interested getting involved they use to hold a pretty big show every year here in Windsor on the river front they use to host tons of show here but all that stooped. What about Best buy they use to have shows to maybe that something they would consider getting back to?????? For real though I'm just a broke little competator but passion for this sport is one thing I do have thats for damn sure.

we have been working on this for 2 years...we finally got the go ahead..
so again...instead of being counter productive...lets hear some nice ideas
I've actually spoken to Don before that even. again u are looking silly.

but here are my ideas,

Canadian finals should be for Canadians. Counting on americans to show up is a wrong way of looking at it. who cares about americans, why are we even talking about americans? when there are finals in florida, they dont expect cubans to come. or when there are finals in LA, they dont expect japanese to come. or when finals were in tulsa, no one was expecting mexicans to show up.

we should only be expecting and attracting CANADIAN competitors. The likes of Michael Muller, Myles and crew, all the guys from Brampton, Lindsay, Jalat, DaVibe, Team ALL TECH, Paul & DuWayne from Windsor, all the London guys, Wolf Man Jack, Chris Jones, Shahid, Bronson, Jack Dismore, Josh Chatten, Tim Bartlet, Team CrabMustang, Sonny G, and probably another ton of guys who's names i've forgotten. How many of these guys do you think will go to a finals in Buffalo? Probably none of them. How about all the Quebec dudes??? u think they are going to buffalo??? pffffffffffffffffffffffffft.that's 2 more hours added to their drive so u can forget that.

in the last 2 years we've had more active competitors right here in ontario than most of north eastern USA.

not to knock on a buffalo show, but if you subtract all the canadian competitors from all the buffalo db drag shows in the last 2-3 years.....you are left with nothing special, nothing better than what we have here, probably even worse.

look at the last buffalo show........5 db drag competitors.....the top 2 loudest guys are from Canada.......

look at the buffalo show from last year, if there was a canadian in a class he or she WON the class

2008 Audiothunder in buffalo......more than half the people at that event were from canada, and again, they won their respective classes.

the stronger competition is here, not over there. i really dont know why someone from here would think an event in buffalo would be ANY better than here. And please don't say "ohhhh the louder guys from US will come to buffalo", no they wont, they are all going to Florida to be in the IASCA finals at the same time. buffalo is going to be dry and empty of any heavy hitters.

i'd print a whole heap of flyers for the canadian finals venue from now and give them out at every ontario event.

1 - I paid my membership as soon as this was announced

2 - I would go to Toronto over a Buffalo location just to support Canada. If there were no Canadian show I'd go to Buffalo just to support the Psychos. (although it would be supporting them at either venu.. i think Toronto would need it more)

3 - If this happens in Canada I'll do my damnest to make sure that I get as many people as possible. Even if it's only people competing for the first time.

4 - I'd call and ask people what I can do to help... but my BB died the other day and I lost all my contacts. Don/Bill/Erie... can you please send me your PIN's again?
