curious ain't it... but IASCA is currently Floridacentric in the US so you are in the heart of their competition territory

as for the slap in the face to Canadians that was mentioned earlier can you please elaborate on what you're referring to? Or are you simply referring to the face that Canada has not had a WF location in the past?

If that is the case my question still stand... What would of made it successful then?
And you know better than to assume that Wayne doesn't make ANY money off of them.

Even if he only sells 1000 of them in a season.. that's $35k, nothing to sneeze at!

Also.. you asked why PAS should support? Well, they are a Canadian publication which focuses on the automotive after market and audio in general. (that's what the S stands for, right?)

So why wouldn't you offer some form of support for an event which is clearly pointing towards your target market?

I mean, you do articles on WF's every year so you can't say you have no interest in the event.

uhhhh, heres a question, when are world finals usually held? seems like bad planning to have it during SBN. I thought that was like the biggest time of the year for this stuff, so it would make more sense to have it at another date, so that everyone who would plan on attending SBN would be able to rather than go to the closest location to them

Have we all gone stupid been gone for a year but WTF has happened Yuli sounds like a bitter ex that got dumped sort of know why though but with a possible CANADIAN finals location why are the CANADIANS talking and coming off like winy little b!+(h$ I can just imagine what Wayne and other Americans are saying. Personally i think the location in Buffalo will hurt the turn out and Americans not allowed to attend it but don't understand needing the two so close sounds like a recipe to insure the north of the boarder location does fail. So unless all Canadians across Canada come to it like some have said we won't be seeing a finals in Canada again and we will have no one to blame but our selves and Yuli and Chris can say I told you so and so they should cause I know where they are coming from.

Oh and if I over stepped or offended any one not my intent but seems like corporate at these leagues don't give a $h!+ about this issue so that is why we are losing Canadian competitors like Chris C. Yuli and other that would have helped it succeed and to me it is a great loss

Still I think dBdrag is trying to do interesting and innovative things, and with multiple locations for their finals is being VERY proactive and is trying to save its members serious drive time and $$ while still trying to run a business with a positive cash flow. If you have a better idea submit it to Wayne or Moe and frankly if it is a better idea then it stands a great chance of moving forward (but it might have to wait a year).
Everyone puts so much time and effort (and $$$) into a successful competition vehicle it is easy to get emotional and get your feelings hurt. And Yuli has a point we are spoiled
