dbDrag WF's announced!
I spoke with Yuli today and we spoke about all the major shows since i began db drag! all of the shows he mentioned in his post were infact highly populated by Canadians!!
Alot of street competitors from right here, hung up their hats having lost hope that we would ever be given a chance at finals. The part where he mentions all the competitors who couldnt possibly cross the border is also very true. Would these retiree's and others who cant cross the border even bother to participate this season knowing finals was here?
answer:: DAMN RIGHT THEY WOULD!!
If finals is heald here than we will see major participation from all these people. We would have new competitors, old competitors, existing competitors, and our ex-cons lol..
Myself and my team will support this venue if its available. Yuli has great pull in the opinions of Ontario draggers and if hes there, so are the rest.
What can I do to help???? Im not entirely sure I would succeed, but i do know some event sponsors "Don also works with them"! Im sure if the right ideas are tossed in their direction, they could possibly make a positive impact....I will need to speak with Don first

Wow there is a lot to read I made it to around page 8 or so so I dunno if this was mentioned but what are people argueing about? The fact that no one shows up to the shows or the fact no one sponsors them?
There is no way to change if people will show up. Hell I know if me and my friends had the money to make a great system we would enter all our vehicles. I dont think its that no one WANTS to enter is that people like me who love this stuff just cant afford it.
And for sponsors I am not sure how you guys do it exactly (it might have been explained somewhere through out the posts that I didnt bother reading because I would have lost what I was going to say.) But for local shows why not ask the town to help sponsor and local Audio shops and then they can setup a tent and sell off thier stuff there?
(I am sure this is how you do it and this is kind of away from the World Finals.)
If your able to get a good local audio shop to hold it and then they will promote the heck out of it obviously. (Wanting business.) Then if you get a good turn out then they might sponsor it again to help pay for the World finals because most Audio shops have cars that represent.
I never really see any shows that are ever around my area. Like Ottawa, Renfrew, Pembroke, Petawawa, Peterborough, Belleville, Kingston, Guelph, and all that. Most of the places are in the GTA. Pembroke and Petawawa each have a car Audio store and maybe they would pull together to help have a show in Pembroke also the one Audio store in Petawawa has a store in Ottawa as well and they might help set up another event in Ottawa.
I dunno this would drag some business in.
(I know this is useless info but I thought I would let people know and maybe I can ask them if they are interested as I live the closest it seams.)
I dunno how else I could help but I could give Splash a call and the other audio store for some help or sponsor ships if you guys wanna send me a PM I would be willing to be the middle man and get the two business in on Canadian Car Audio.
Just send me a PM if any of this is usefull.

You reading this^^^^ just another guy offering to bust his *** if a WORLD FINALS were to be in Toronto!! more regular season participation would happen for sure if there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel lol...
The reason alot of folks up here that arent serious about drag is only because until now, theres been nothing to justify it. Put a Finals in Toronto and let people know about it and you will see what happens!
