We used 4 D8000s on 2 Massive Rhinos. It worked well. They are a pretty efficient amp as well as being CEA rated. So you're guaranteed at least the power they're advertising. I can't remember what they made on the birth sheets. I'll check tomorrow. Good looking amps too. There's only a handful of Massive's products I've used and didn't like.
P.S. I'm sure u know the D3600 will do 1800rms@1ohm.

Do amps lose quality when you bridge down?
Edit: Running 2 ga wire from sonic to the dist block, then 4 ga to the amps.

Added some more equipment
JL 500/1 amp (used)
Image Dynamics IDQ V3 12" Sub (new, gonna try my hand at fiberglass, wish me luck)
Massive Audio CK6 components for rear fill
Just need a 2 or 4 channel amp to complete the deal. Got my eyes on a JL 300/2.

Where abouts are you? Close to Calgary at all for me to come have a look see? If so I can give you loads of help if you need it. (and the wife does not find out that I am doing it and I find the free time).

JL 360.2 deal fell through...gonna try and snag a lightly used NX2.
I hear ya on the wife/spare time thing...I hear ya. 5 years ago I did what I wanted, when I wanted.
Now...not so much. It's all good though. Thanks for the offer but I'm a one man wolf pack.

Frank, have you heard the CK6s? Weren't you looking at an HD1600.4 earlier?

I was throwing around the idea of a center channel; I would need a 4 channel amp to drive the 3 dash speakers and the 1600 would drive the XR6M's in the front and the rear fill.
I have since scrapped the center channel idea.
I wanted something cheap for amplified rear fill in the back doors, I haven't heard the CK6's but I have heard that the tweets are harsher, while the mids kick A$$. I believe I can attenuate the tweets with either caps or the MS8. I just want to make sure my rear can keep up with my front.
Going with the CC idea would have cost me close to $600 - without I'm right around $275.
