^^ you need to stop typing and take a step back...

You could be targeted by the police for any number of reasons... so instead of insisting that it couldn't happen to someone who dosent somehow 'deserve it' realize that it does happen and maybe wonder how you might feel...

BTW, I suppose every women out there who gets into an abusive relationship with a man deserves it also.... because she put herself in a position where it could conceavably happen...

If anything my sis is guilty of trying to help someone out because she feels sorry for them...

AND I don't have to think about my sister in this scenario because SHE WASN'T EVEN THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED... (thankfully)

Iam thinking about her 150lb skinny white kid buddy I know (university student btw) who had his face kicked in... or maybe the guy who was kicked in the ribs enough times to break THREE OF THEM..

You are an idiot if you believe that is standard procedure... plain and simple it is not... MAYBE IF THEY KNEW FOR A FACT THERE WAS DEFINATE DANGER... and even then IF THE OCCUPANTS RESISTED...

You can have whatever jackass attidue you want though...

ALSO hamiltons news was talking about some kid who was accidently shot and killed by some overzealous cop just last week... and the one before wasn't that long ago either, as I recall...

thanks for comming out

If you really think you were mistreated why not file a complaint? If there is a problem DO SOMETHING about it, don't just whine about how all cops are bad.

Again, I challenge anyone to state that we'd be better off with no police than the police we have now. The system needs serious work, but if you don't do something about it nothing will ever change.

The police acted upon the information that they had infront of them. What did you expect them to do, call and ask to make sure she was home first? Let's see 4 RCMP officers gunned down cold blood by some idiot stick bonehead crack addict and you think the police should do things differently? Right, thanks for coming out, take a seat.

well you just keep using that imagination of yours...

Maybe one day (like I said) you will get your door/*** kicked in by the po for some false reason and well see what kind of song you sing then...

The bottom line is that the polize in this incident went off half ****ed on unrealiable information and innocent people not only got hurt, but had their rights as Canadian citizens violated.....

AND IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN THEN SOME MIGHT THINK

Actually dude, I am headed in the other direction. I will be the one doing the kicking.

No one person should have their rights violated, by anyone at anytime. Authorities act on the information that they have in front of them at the time. If it is based on a lie, there is still only one way to find out. Again Haunz, take your sister out of this picture entirely and consider this viewpoint as you posted it.

"a swat team is at my sis's apartment kicking in her door... warrant said they are looking for cocain and illegal firearms... "

Would you as point man or backup in this operation not be wary of the situation knowing what you could very well be facing. Going into this situation the officer could really care less about who is in the room and how to gently place you on the floor and have a pillow for your head. They are there to affect an arrest in the quickest way possible and to ensure officer and public safety.

Do I feel bad for the people, sure I do. I'm sure they will also be compensated in the end and rightfully so. The people who initiated the forced entry need to have the book thrown at them. (that is after the book is rewritten and has real deterrents).

I might also add a point that our fascist friend probably wont agree with is what a waste of time the war on drugs and cough cough gun control is in the first place...

MR2.. I do agree with you to a point... but the cops can't just act on whatever hair brained tip they recieve... especially from two hood rats they just busted...

Maybe they should have tried to pick someone up leaving the apartment with coke first..

The fact that there was police brutality inflicted on people who were not resisting arrest tells %90 of what was wrong.. and the fact that a barking dog was shot.. like WTF..

I asked my sis how firearms could have come into the picture and she feels that because narcotics were mentioned the popo 'trumped' the charges up on the warrant when they went to the judge... The mention of guns will get paper work put through faster with less red tape and evidence required...

SO, there is a distinct possibility that pigs made that part up in the first place... are you starting to see how VERY WRONG this situation could be ? (oh Iam sure you believe the police would never do something like that )

Perhaps two cops only wanted to get the warrant ASAP and next thing they're superiors are calling in the swat... who knows, she just said the cops made several major screwups leading up to one grand cluster ****...

Rob, once they kick in the door should they not access the situation inside? or just beat everyone down anyways?

at first u say they did right b/c of what was said on the warrant and they u say they need the book thrown at them? so which one is it? i understand u kick in the door and tell everyone to get on the floor, there is no need to kick people around.
