Resonant Engineering purchased motor parts from Onyx Audio that Onyx deemed to be defective. These parts were used in both our lower SE and HC lines. Any and all Onyx names and marks should have been removed from the product before being used, but in light of the above pictures, apparently were not.

^^ Being that the Onyx backplate is plainly visible and quite detailed I would suspect they may have been deemed unusable due to cosmetic issues. I cannot say for sure but I know when RF had the polished backplate on the Pro woofers it was a nightmare for them.. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
