Let me first say that Beyond didn't use the same motor's other people used. I got my own just for me me me. As for my relationship with Destijl, it was awesome, the subs they made were good and people I sold them to sometimes abused them like rented mules with less than 3% defects or returns. You wanna know why? I educated my customers on the proper use and applications for the woofers they bought.
Out of the hundreds of x-ones I maybe had to recone like 25 total and most were out of warranty burned coils from distortion tests. I made my Inhumans and had less than 3 warranty items per year so those were no concern. Actually I broke more than anyone. Damn, I must have sold defective equipment, but I never even inspected it, bahhh
Now when I decided to shut down Beyond I really didn't shut it down. Because Beyond Audio is me and I am still here. I changed product only and what I put my energy into.
I know the crew at Destijl puts their all into their stuff so I agreed to pick RE up for Canada.
I try to make ends meet while supporting the industries finest people, YOU the customer and friend.
This in no way bothers me as a new distributor and I have not seen one shred of performance complaint that I should even care about. Once I see the performance complaints then its my problem.
Anyway, its late and the pizza guy is here with my pizza I ordered, I better go pay or he might eat it.

That shows great customer service.
If you have any concerns send them to don so he can delete them and pretend they never happened. </font>
I don't need that crap on my forum I have no idea what the situation is. Its here and thats good enough for you. Don't be a dumbass posting repeat topics that I have already replied to here. </font>
Nice customer service skills, the reason that I posted it on your forum was that since you are the only distributor for RE in Canada I thought you would be the best person to ask about it. As for it being a repeat topic check out over half of the car audio forums on the net...it is all over them. Are you saying then that my concerns as a customer make me a "dumbass" as you so nicely put it? Is that the official statement on behalf of RE?

Did you consider that Don makes his LIVING off of selling these products? He has a wife and kids that he needs to feed.
If you wanted answers you could have sent him an email. Instead you wanted to be the big man and call Don out on his forums to try and make him look stupid. (this is the part where you become a dumbass)
It is Don's personnal forum, so he has the RIGHT to remove any posts that he doesn't want to have there, no matter what the reason. It could be something as stupid as him not liking the font you used, it's his perogative.
This thread is already 5 pages long and, as you have already said, there are a bunch of other threads all over the Net. So why bother making ANOTHER spectacle of this?
This is RE's problem. Don should not be the one to answer for their screw up.

Don, I find it VERY disturbing that you would state the "every other company has something to hide". I have absolutely nothing to hide! As I have stated several times, I sold DEFECTIVE parts to Resonant Engineering. The reason they were supposed to remove our name and logo was because the were rejected by us and I didn't want speakers built with my name on them that did not meet my standards. I didn't choose to built MY speakers with defective parts, RE did...

And for the record, I also make my living selling speakers, and I have a family to support and spend time with as well. It's negligence like this that takes time away from my family and keeps me from doing actual work. I did not want to spend my weekend doing damage control...
Well everyone else has added there 100 bucks worth.... I'm gonna add my 10 cents...
Has anyone had a real legitimate performance problem with any of the subs in question?
If so, fine, otherwise, who cares about "who deleted what, and who said what and your buddy whose ex-girlfriends cousin blew 3 subs"
Welcome to the world of SPL. Subs do blow, fry, etc... etc... We've wrecked a few over the years, we send em back, or we buy new ones... life goes on....
Anyway, If any of you have problems with your equipment, why aren't you contacting the manufacturer? Have any of them ever said "Sorry, your on your own?"
Instead, your more than happy to whine about it here....
Anyway, enough out of me.....
