As for the frequency they gave me....that was way back in August that I looked at that last, I'll try to dig it up and let you know when I find it.

SPL really has nothing at all to do with anything the majority of manufacturers have to say. particularly a mainstream manufacturer like orion.
to put it into perspective. The loudest box in my explorer was 0.6 cubes per sub tuned to 49 hz on paper. Whereas the SPL recommended enclosure from kicker was 6 cubic feet per sub tuned to 68 hz. Couldnt possibly be more opposite.

You guys seems to know everything about everything...no one can oppose you because you think you own this forum. You'll all hold hands and dance around in a circle around this forum because you have have 7300 posts...so you must be right about everything.

lol you are too much, he and I are saying that there is no way Orion can/will know what box you need to achieve higher spl score. That is the truth, i dont know why u just dont accept it. If i were you, i'd be posting my trunk dimentions on here so someone who "knows everything about everything" can give you a decent box design to help you bring you closer to your goal.

How do you know I haven't done that already? Perhaps my box will break 150? Do you know for sure that it won't? I wasn't on here asking how to get louder...I was on this thread because I was giving advice, I was stating how I gained spl. This thread wasn't about me to begin with. All I said was that at the last show,I hit 144...I never siad what I'm at now. Maybe I am at 152?

I said I dont need advise becuase im already at were I want to be I know what my car can hit and what I need to make it hit that. ive been in enough shows to know what it takes to hit 150 plus
and as for another hero if your refering to yuli he is looked up to by everyone in the car audio scene and knows all the secrets to spl so maybee you should have some respect for somone thats been competing for years and has gone to worlds and finals numerous times
