Not a bad thread to bring back up though. hehe
I was kinda curious myself if anyone knew of any comps somewhere between Windsor and Brantford. hehe
I have family in Leamington, so Windsor is nearby and easy to get to for me. I live in Aylmer, so Brantford isnt all that far away either.
I'd ask about comps in further areas, but my system isnt serious enough to drive very far for a comp. .....one day....

I sort of felt the same way.... nowhere near loud enough to compete .... I also live in Windsor and it is a far haul. There are fun events like Bass Race and 30HZ challenge that do not require you to be super loud.

I drove for 5 hours to Lindsay, On. last month and it was a blast. Not only got to find out how loud my system was but also got to compete in the many formats. Not to mention EVERYONE there was really cool, and helpful to noobs like me.

If you haven't at least done it once .... you gotta go and try. I got lucky my first time and took home two 2nd place trophies and placed 2nd in 129.9 Bass race for cash. You never know until you try.

I could always use time on a meter. hehe
Unfortunately, me and the wife are going out for our anniversary this weekend.
Otherwise that would have been awesome going up with a group. I have a few local friends that usually come with me to competitions (the few times we have gone). We usually travel in a pack so no one gets lost. hehe
I have changed my system after every competition because i have never been happy with the scores, and always found flaws in my setup, thanks to the guys at the competition. The people i have met so far were all very supportive and i think that is what keeps me coming back. I have learned alot just from the people i have met at competitions.
Right now im kinda stuck with either keeping my pair of 12s, building a proper box for them, and upgrading the rear suspension, or going with a single 15 and changing the setup completely. hehe
