busy sanding for a few days making the cut outs all same size and mounting the steel with some 4" lag bolts and then the baffle and sand and paint again. Not sure how happy the neighbour is with all the dust I made haha.

 

Then paint the baffle and install the monsters . not to fun by one's self but got them in and called it a night .

 

Then wire them up , and dint have any 1/0 for the amp , but did has a PH400 to run on them so hooked him and did some testing . must say after playing it them coils was ice cold , very impressed !

 

So now there is much work todo , And not sure when to find time , but the dust is tell tale signs of where the work needs to be done. Hope the boys will come school me for weekend some time when they done out east

 

And yes that is a flex plate in the blue boxs , blue that trans yet again only 5th time since I bought it . I guess she getting time for a 4L80.... So that is the plan in few hours from now to replace .

 

But my goal is to get this score on 2000 watts or less. So there is lots .5 to 1 dbz hiding there yet .

Well Ran into some bad news again last night .

pulled trans and found this crack again . Almost a year to the day she busted again , this time there was no reason other than too much twist from the motor I guess. Going to have to find another housing and swap guts over yet again .

 

Looking good thanks for sharing, this has given me a few ideas of my own.
