that is one insane build. You have gotten alot done since the last time I was up. How much inside work is left yet?

 

Haha Ya u should be up here helping instead of doin nothing, As u can see is why we havent come down there since march. There is light at end now I think. Not much left other than making final clean ups and such I think.

 

are your subs there yet? what do the guys at work think of it? are any of them going to get in it with you?

 

Not as much done yet but had other things that needed attended to and had to get away from it for the weekend. Too much time spent and family feeling it too much.
I did how ever have some fun with my buddy down the street from our shop. Playing some old fords and going rides. nothing like some old school muscle.

 

No not yet. Maybe friday , But i not sure they coming on the train to get here.I got a feeling will be monday or tuesday. everyone here likes it but they all think it is crazy and as for them who will demo it ? umm maybe one or two...

 

So my 2Din showed up on friday . Not the one I was going to get but price was right,so I need to install it, movies are killer in there !Cant wait for subs, but didnt come with trim panel and fabbed a mount out of some 3" angle. Have to finish yet but must says it sounds a hella lot better than what was in there before haha but it wouldnt take much. And so monday I put some of the other componets that will be used as well. Still thinking on what to do for amp rack. Thinking have to wait till they arrive to make sure they fits properly.

 

so did some testing tonight and ya after weekend be interesting to see how it turns out, It sounds so good now , I hope that with the new gear I sent wife to city to pick up it will only get better. I have better pics on phone but cant get onto computer to upload . So next week when time permits I will load. Have a very busy week with work and buddy is coming with his Z tomorow for some install of some stuff he bought a year ago

The first crappy screen shot is of the mic in legal position and played a 40-80 sweep, the second is same but mic on head rest . the new meter software is pretty sweet to . has 30 sec average and ended with 108 db on a song. But found louder ones after the fact. will load later ears still bleeding from killswitch and bullet for my valentine......

 

Whats in it now?

 

are those marks with just the front end? that is a pretty even bar, from that it looks like abot 50 to 80 htz is covered. but 131 with 8 sixes is nuts.

 

What is in it now ? Took out to mount the new stuff. Got woofers mounted yesturday but need to make up amp rack to hold the 14 amps that come . And then mounted the new mids . Spend the whole day sat on buddies 350Z , gutted that thing to nothing on the interior and installed new everything. Didnt get a chance to get it tested as teh 4 channel NIB has a issue and smoked the 2 din .... Not very happy. front channel has a short in it as found out after some testing with a MP3 player.

On a side note I got the Burn2 from moates so I can now make my own chips instead of waiting a month for the prom to arrive from TBI chips.
