All i'm saying is..use your heads people
What are you basing that on? </font>
What i've seen first hand </font>
What have you seen for w7 warranty? </font>
Countless hours on the internet but seriously, other drivers also & ones that i've used first hand. I was just using the w7 as an example, because it's an overpriced, made in house blah..blah..blah sub that's been going in on warranty also.

I was just pointing out that the RE subs quality wasn't an issue until these pics came out. People have been happy with their RE subs till now. Why RE didn't grind off the Onyx logo just confuses me. I hope that this mistake doesn't hurt um too bad, because their subs kill alot of the higher priced subs out there PERIOD

So you have absolutely no basis for your statement that W7's go in for warranty more than RE subs. Unless you were a warranty advisor at BOTH companies you couldn't acurately make that claim.

Also, it's a little harder to claim that a W7 is overpriced considering that THEY don't use defective parts from other companies.

LOL Too many double negatives there Ty

Yes I understand that under the nda re cannot make known the nature of the defect or defects.

That doesn't stop me from wanting to know what it is though.

Gene.

Ok first off...you say they cannot legally post the reason the onyx parts were deemed defective...and i know that...but come on people they were deemed DEFECTIVE for one reason or another and isn't it the comsumers RIGHT to know they are buying a woofer made with defective parts and WHY IT WAS DEEMED DEFECTIVE??

If its only cosmetic and nothing to affect performance then why is it so secret?

This got a little off topic about bashing other companies and people acting like kids but the real reason this thread was started and why RE customers are pissed as i would be...if they perform well...good...but why can RE or ONYX not tell the reason of the defect?

RE in NO WAY gave a suitable responce IMO

someone at elite posted that there is nothing wrong with the motors.

"The motors weren't defective, they just weren't to the right specs for the coils that Onyx wanted to use... Its not like R.E. has been selling 'B' stock."

take that what u will.

Wow are you guys gonna be pissed when you find out that some dude actually was jerking off into your Big Mac. Really how many of you care about what your food is made of? And all this fuss about a woofer.
