The 2009 Crew cab duramax I had with a don special 18 and 700 watt the wife couldve overshot 39.9 agaist alsniffer on stock electrical. But when 2K was applied, the power fell on its face...

So I agree with ya, 7K is a more than enough power for a daily system, groundpounder etc... But for fart contests the sky is the limit... as long as the amp dont Pyle up... lmao
hahahah, lmao... I completely agree.

I'm not really building for the burps anymore, but a decent number is my goal. Still burp during testing. I have a TL, so that helps. When my WAY underpowered Atomic was running, my best was 151.7 and it will bassrace 149.9... hence the snapshot in my avi. That was playing "Crazy", I think its like 45hz. I just need to get more alt and batt bank for this year after its repaired... so I don't blow it again. ...Thats O.K. ... I learn from my lessons too.

Now back to your thread! MORE PICS! Come on... its not thaaat cold out.

Well got 8 hours of build time yesturday, had to repair the column first as it was getting bad and scared it would come apart while traveling down the road. I dont want to lose the tilt, so I decided I would try to fix this one and if it comes apart again I will replace with the non tilt.As for the console shift... Looking Grim for what I want. I spend the morning repairing the column, and the pics are started from the tear down and then had to put together.Nasty Job it was,I cant imagine how much a shop would charge to do this. The issue is the 4 bolts that hold the knuckle to the column. They dont have the proper thread locker on them and they come loose from normal use,not to mention some bass. So it now has the red locktite on it.

So after the column was repaired I went back to the dash and finished the frame for the dash to mount to the floor, and then build the driver side up.
another couple hours and it be ready for some wood. But I suppose that should finish the roof build and floor and then the doors. need to find a means of clamping the doors from the inside with out looking like the normal way of doing things.

Here is a pic of the tunes playing,. Some old Rammstein, Forgot how good this album is...

Then stopped at the scale on way home , too cold out to walk closer for a better pic. besides dont want to spend any more time at the scale than need too, Dot's are usually not to friendly when you come in there from my experance

If you cant make out the pic of the weight, front axel is 1250 kg, the rear is at 2230 kg. approx 3500 kg or 7700lbs

Actually it rides pretty good for that weight. It could use a little more on the front end to level it out abit but not much of anything going in there for awhile. The 6BT will add a few lbs to it when I get to that a year or so down the road. Sniffing around for around for one but nothing I want yet. too new or just too much.

The 5.7 snaps ya back pretty good when she shifts. but that would be the 4.56 gears doin that.

Every time I look at this thread I just leave utterly baffled.

Truly insane and amazing at the same time, as a side note your fabricating is quite impressive. Can't wait to see the final result.
